Overview-Metallurgy Division
Metallurgy is a specialized branch of engineering that studies the physical and chemical properties of different metals, variations of metallic materials, analysis of orientations, individualization and processing methods for development and their industrial uses. Equipped with a variety of scientific instruments, the division is working on developing new science and technology to support local and export-oriented industries, including advanced research in the field of metallurgy and mineralogy. Engineers and scientists of this division are engaged in the analysis of indigenous metallurgy and mineral, separation and processing methods for development and their industrial use, so as to reduce the dependence on the raw material from foreign countries for the local industry.
