Institute of Mining, Mineralogy and Metallurgy (IMMM) is the first and only research organization in the field of Mine, Mineral and Metallurgy in Bangladesh. The main aim of this organization is to explore mine, minerals and ore, extraction planning, quality analysis and assurance of their use. We deliver the following training to students from different universities, technical/polytechnic institute/college, also the officer and staff from different government and non-government organizations and industry to achieve human resource development and skilled manpower.

In-House Training List

• In the fiscal year 2014-15 (5-6^th Nov, 2014), we trained 15 scientific personnel of different units of BCSIR on operation and maintenance of Particle Size Analyzer.

• In the fiscal year 2015-16, we trained 15 scientific personnel of different units of BCSIR on operation and maintenance of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF).

• In the fiscal year 2016-17, we trained 15 scientific personnel of different units of BCSIR on operation and maintenance of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF).

• Mineralogy division of IMMM arranged 5 days (January 21-26, 2017) executive training on “Petrological slide preparation and Mineral identification in Microscope” for 5 officials of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Ltd. (BAPEX).

• In the fiscal year 2017-18, we trained 15 scientific personnel of different units of BCSIR on operation and maintenance of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF).

• In the fiscal year 2018-19 (6-10 Jan, 2019), we trained 10 scientific personnel of different units of BCSIR on operation and maintenance of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF).

• Mineralogy division of IMMM arranged 5 days (28^th August- 1^st September, 2018) executive training on “Mineral processing & operation of analytical instruments” for the 7 academics of department of Geology & Mining, University of Rajshahi.

• Mineralogy division of IMMM arranged 2 days (28-29 April, 2019) executive training on “Moisture Content analysis of coal” for the 4 officers of Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Limited (BCMCL)
