Joint Research
- An MoU has been signed between the IMMM and CSIRO, Australia for extraction of valuable heavy minerals from the Brahmaputra River sand.
- A joint research program has been sent to the Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India for the determination of financial evaluation, possible mining operation and processing activities of valuable minerals in the Brahmaputra River sand.
- Joint research activity has been initiated with the Korean Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) for extraction of recyclable metals from electronic waste and valuable minerals processing from mineral sand.
- An MoU is underway with the Maddhapara Granite Mining Co. Ltd. (MGMCL) for the diverse use of hard rock (e.g., making of precious/gems stone, durable tiles making using stone dust).
